Are You A Content Creator?

I have not felt much like writing lately. I have a lot to say, but it’s to the extent where the list has grown beyond being manageable in terms of topics. I really don’t know what to write first. So I thought maybe if I sat down with my iPad and just wrote some freeform feelings, that maybe I would get the desired inspiration to actually formulate a blog post. I realized that the last blog post I have anywhere is February 2025.

Everything is moving so quickly in terms of what people are doing to reach other people blogging, podcasts, reels, videos, live programs, memes, stories, and then the endless stream of AI collaborations and creations. I look at some of the stuff that’s out there across social media, and I am in total shock as to how any one person or (family) can accomplish  so much in a day. It’s as if everyone is always working, but no one seems to be actually living, but that doesn't stop filming.

If you have a presence across the platforms of social media, then you are definitely going to to have to be more professional with your output to create an audience that’s ahead of the competition. Once you get those numbers, you may even be able to charge money and make a living. However, the time that is consumed can become unmanageable. Everyone, every day, is always thinking about what the next gag is going to be across their social media. Everything that you do, every act is depending upon what you’re going to eventually put out there for other people to see. Now that’s just what’s on film. You still have to try to live the life. If you’re putting things on video in some artistic way, then you’re going to have to edit your your content so that as a content creator, you have a professional presentation. Now I’m sure that that’s never a first time success so people will be tweaking their content constantly to make sure it’s the best output. All that and now let’s add the price tag because it’s a hefty one when it comes to equipment. You’ve got lights, computers, assistance, cameras, podcast set ups, product accessories. And if you’re doing a slice of life, then you have to buy all the ingredients for that recipe for instance, or that job you’re showing someone in terms of building.

All of that encompasses the good and the bad and can be taxing on the emotions and create mood swings. That’s why mental health is so severely at risk right now, especially in the United States. It’s a real problem and but it’s easy to see why and very difficult to do anything about.

I’m rambling because I am trying to become inspired to reconnect with the aspect of sharing my words as a blogger. I’m really not sure how to do that these days. I’m extremely uncertain as to what people really want to hear or want to read or want to know or learn about, if anything. There’s so much going on in the world and in my own space, that I feel I lost to pick a topic and write about it. That said, I welcome all suggestions. Tell me how you are actually getting through your days and how you deal with content if you are a creator.
